The development program of the main artery of the modern historic center of the city of Rabat, comes in the wake of the urban upgrading program which was initiated in the early 2000s.
This mythical avenue sent down several daring concepts before the choice of the authorities stopped on a rather sober approach, in order to keep in front, the architectural identity so remarkable of the two shores.
The landscaping approach thus respected the fluidity of movements and the clearance of perspectives.
